Boris Skalsky is a composer, songwriter, and recording artist whose work moves between solo projects, contemporary classical music, and film and television. After studying composition at the Manhattan School of Music, he co-founded Phaser and later formed Dead Heart Bloom while continuing to write concert music and pursue his own recordings. His catalog includes solo acoustic records, chamber music, orchestral writing, and experimental electronics. His music has appeared across network television, cable, streaming, and independent film. He continues to release music and collaborate with filmmakers, artists, and ensembles.
